Lion’s Head Mountain has become an Equatours tradition, and in order to stretch our legs after the Cape Town Cycle Tour (and recover after our infamous Cape Argus after party!), we make our way to the top of Table Mountain’s little sister, to enjoy spectacular vistas over the Mother City.
Unlike Table Mountain, Lion’s Head does not have a cable car, and so the only way to reach its magnificent peak is the old-fashioned way – on foot! While relatively steep in some parts, Lion’s Head is not technically challenging, and the view from the top makes every step worthwhile – as you will see from our pictures below…
