With just two days to go until the summer solstice of 2012, now is the perfect time to book that summer holiday you have been dreaming about all winter.

June 20^th is the ‘official’ first day of summer, and if you are not busy planning a summer solstice party at Stonehenge, why not spend the evening indoors looking for a great holiday deal instead!

If package holidays are not really your ‘thing’ and you fancy something a little more exotic this year, why not head on over to the glamorous hub of Miami with its endless beaches, five-star restaurants, and lively nightlife!  A fantastic destination for those who enjoy spending their days on the beach, and their evenings surrounded by beautiful people, Miami has it all.

If you are feeling energetic, and would like to spend your summer holiday doing something completely different, the summer months of June – October are said to be the best months for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.  With various routes and climbing packages available, you can spend a week scaling Africa’s highest peak before resting your weary bones on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.

If your idea of a dream holiday is somewhere cool and un-crowded, now is the perfect time to head below the equator and take advantage of moderate temperatures in Brazil, Argentina and South Africa.  During the low season hotel and flight prices drop, activities are less crowded, and you get to enjoy a little piece of paradise all to yourself (for a change!).
