Going Loco Down in…Cabo San Lucas!

It might not have the same ring to it as Acapulco, but Cabo San Lucas is a fantastic place to ‘go loco’ in Mexico, and if you have ever visited the well-known and much-loved ‘Cabo-Wabo’ – well, you will know exactly what I am talking about!

Cabo San Lucas doesn’t seem to have established itself as a holiday destination for Europeans (yet!), but as most cruise ships sailing the Baja California route stop off at this purpose-built resort on the way down or up the coast, it is starting to become quite a holiday hot spot!

We have visited Cabo several times on our journeys around the world, and while it may not have the rustic Mexican charm of Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco, it offers all the glitz, glamour and high-end hotels you could possibly wish for, making it a great choice for your next holiday.

We don’t seem to have too many photo’s of Cabo San Lucas – must be something to do with the Tequila! But here are a few of our favourite shots to give you a glimpse of what’s in store if you head on down to good old Cabo…

Finally, I have been to somewhere you’ve mentioned! Although it was Acapulco, not your main subject 🙂

Acapulco is great fun too Elle! Did you visit Senor Frogs up on the hillside?

I don’t think I did, it was a long, long time ago… I did do a boat cruise – but wasn’t brave enough to jump out and swim as others did 😦 We were only there for a couple of days.

Maybe it’s time to go back Elle! 🙂
