A New Year provides us all with a clean fresh slate and endless opportunities, so why not make 2015 your year to do something amazing! Most of us have a Travel Destination Bucket List – I know I do, and while mine is probably longer than the Great Wall of China (which is on my list too!), I’m am still hopeful that I will get to visit all 196 countries in the world before I kick the proverbial bucket – but that leaves me with around 150 countries to go!

If you are still working on your Travel Destination Bucket List, here are five of the most popular travel destinations voted by those with wanderlust…

South African Safari – Sabi Sands for a luxury treat / Kruger National Park for a self-drive adventure / Eastern Cape for a Malaria Free animal encounter

Daydreaming and Island Hopping in the Fiji Islands – It’s a long way to go, but this paradise in the Pacific Ocean is worth every air mile!

Hike the Inca Trail – Peru’s Macchu Picchu has long been a favourite with backpackers, but it now attracts travellers of every age, culture and background.  Are you going to uncover the secrets of the sacred valley in 2015?

Self-Drive Australia – From snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef to hiking Uluru, there is something for everyone in Australia, but you will need a well-planned itinerary and a flight pass – its big – REALLY BIG!

A Meeting with Rapi Nui at the Easter Islands – This one is firmly at the top of my bucket list! A mystical and magical place just waiting to be discovered.
