I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you haven’t been on safari until you have visited Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains. A magical place that is literally bursting with wildlife, the Serengeti covers and expanse of some 14,763km², and homes one of the world’s greatest wonders, when some 2 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelles fight to survive in the circle of life, otherwise known as the Great Migration.
There are so many reasons to visit Tanzania, what with Mount Kilimanjaro, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the beautiful Spice Island of Zanzibar, but if you don’t include the Serengeti on your itinerary, you could be missing out on the most spectacular journey of your life…
As they say, Africa is the heart of the world and there are only a few of us who have been touched by her. Africa is not just a place it’s a feeling.
Those pictures are beautiful and the wildlife looks amazing. I always wanted to go but never had the chance yet. It’s on my list to do places and hopefully soon I would be able to. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for stopping by Marc! I hope you get to visit the Serengeti soon! 🙂
