The service here is exceptional, as we found when had the entire island to ourselves back in 2015, although you need to watch out for Horace, the resident Hippo, who has been known to sneak up onto the island at night!

From its prime location on the banks of the Zambezi River, it commands the most spectacular views, and provides the perfect backdrop from romantic sunsets and sleeping under the stars. The suites are incredibly spacious and private at Tongabezi, like your own little piece of paradise.
