Cruise Holidays – Getting Cheaper by the Minute!

If you have always dreamed of taking a cruise holiday, you will be pleased to know that cruising is now cheaper than ever before! No longer something only the rich and wealthy can enjoy, sailing the seven seas is now within everyone’s reach, and contrary to popular belief, you do not need to be over 60 to enjoy it!

Like many, we were sceptical when booking our first cruise and the usual questions of “what if we get seasick, what will we do on Sea Days, and what if we don’t like it” were the topic of many conversations.

We ultimately decided on a 7-night cruise along the Mexican Riviera, and agreed that if we really hated life on board, we would disembark in Acapulco and holiday there instead! However, just moments after embarking on our magnificent floating city, we decided that cruising was everything we dreamed it would be, the journey was amazing, and we booked our second cruise holiday within weeks of returning home.

Cruise ships now sail across the world, and whether your dream holiday includes a week touring Mediterranean cities, two weeks visiting the Caribbean Islands, or a trip through the manmade wonder that is the Panama Canal, there is sure to be a brilliant sailing vessel going your way.

High-end cruise companies such as Regent Seven Seas, Cunard, and Silversea, offer the most amazing all-inclusive packages, and once you have paid for your voyage; there is simply nothing else to pay.  Flights, fine dining, extensive wine lists, and all the land excursions you could possibly wish for are included in the price, so once you are onboard, you can pack your wallet and your troubles away.

If a luxury cruise is not within your holiday budget this year, you will be pleased to know that several cruise companies such as Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, and P&O offer tremendous bargains (especially on repositioning cruises), with prices starting as little as $50 dollars a night!

So head on out to sea this summer and try cruise holiday– you never know, you might just like it!
