Winter Cruises – Now is the perfect time to book!

If, like us, you are enjoying a rather pleasant 28 degrees today, then we are pretty sure that your winter holiday couldn’t be further from your mind. However… if you want to grab yourself a bargain Christmas cruise, now is the perfect time to shop!

We may have only just reached August, but many cruise companies have already released their winter sailing dates, and if you fancy heading off into the seven seas this winter, it might be time to put down your beach novel and head onto the World Wide Web.

If you are looking for luxury this Christmas, we would have to recommend hoping onboard the Regent Seven Seas Navigator for a 10-night trip cruising around the Caribbean.  Departing Miami on 18th December, this luxury liner will stop at Key West, Cayman Islands, Cozumel Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras, and you will have the opportunity to spend 25th December sunning yourself on Mexico’s Costa Maya.

The wonderful thing about cruising with Regent Seven Seas is that they offer ‘real’ all-inclusive trips.  All fine dining, fine wines, premium spirits and shore excursions are included in the price of the cruise, as are gratuities, mini-bar and 24-hour room service, with no hidden costs.

There is already a waiting list for some cabins on this ship, so if you fancy 10-days of luxury, you really need to book now.

December is one of the best months of the year to head below the equator and enjoy the warm temperatures of South Africa and Mauritius, and if you have always dreamed of a taking an African adventure, you might be interested in Silversea’s Christmas sailing.

Departing from Port Louise, Mauritius on 23rd December, this magnificent 14-night cruise journey will take you to Madagascar, and five ports in South Africa including Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, before you reach your final port of call in Cape Town.

If you are one of the lucky ones with plenty of holiday time in December, you could tailor make your holiday by adding a couple of extra days in Mauritius and maybe a South African Safari, and transform this into a holiday of a lifetime.

With just 144 days to go (sorry!), why not leave the turkey to someone else this year and sail off into the sunset with the one(s) you love!
