Travel Makes You Sexy – It’s Official

We all know that holidays and travel can leave us feeling bronzed, relaxed and refreshed, but I recently came across a survey conducted by RSVP.com.au, which reveals that travel makes us sexy too!

The survey, carried out on 882 single Australian adults, revealed that those who list “travelling” as their hobby are perceived to be more attractive than those who do not, and that a whopping 96 percent of those singles currently looking for partners, are looking for someone who likes to travel.

A spokesperson of Intrepid Travel, Jo Stewart, said, “The attitudes of singles show that a by-product of travel is that it adds to your sex appeal. Travellers are generally considered curious about the world, open-minded and adventurous – all of which are attractive qualities.”

In the survey, daring travellers were voted to be the most alluring, adventure seekers came in second with 23 percent of the votes, off-the-beaten track adventurers won third place with 22 percent, and cultural connoisseurs came in fourth place with a rather modest 16 percent of the votes.

Gone, it seems, are the days when travel was something one did during their gap-year, and as international flights become cheaper, borders open, and the world becomes more accessible, we can all travel more, and become a little bit sexier in the process… Now, where is my suitcase!
