On the day that Nelson Mandela is laid to rest at his family home in Qunu, I thought I would dedicate this blog to South Africa, the country he was willing to die for.
We literally have thousands of photos of South Africa, but here are just a few of my own favourites, along with a great quote by Richard Mullin:
“The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa – for he has so much to look forward to.”
Spectacular ! Who knew the place would look so swell, I certainly didn’t. Every thing looks untouched.
It is one of the most beautiful countries on the planet PotSoup!
I love that quote! It is so true. A little piece of my heart was left in Africa last summer!
It’s fantastic isn’t it Andrea… and so very true! 🙂
Your photos are a wonderful view of South Africa. On our visit, Robbins Island wasn’t accessible because of high winds and waves. The power of nature and the power of people are both so alive there.
