Namibia may be one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Southern Africa, but very few of our friends and colleagues seem to know where it is, or what there is to see and do in this vast and sparsely populated land!
Home to Sossusvlei – the world’s largest sand dunes, the windswept Skeleton Coast, the saltpans of Etosha National Park, and Damaraland, a pristine wilderness area, Namibia has so much to offer that you could easily lose yourself for a year in this majestic land of ever-changing landscapes, and if you dream of going on safari one day, Namibia could be your perfect destination.
Despite its warm desert climate and virtually no rainfall, Namibia homes an abundance of desert-adapted wildlife and unique flora and fauna that you cannot find anywhere else in the world, so it is the perfect destination for a safari adventure.
Something a little bit different to your ‘regular’ South African Safari, Namibian Safari’s offer different landscapes, different animal species (although there are plenty of the Big 5 around!), and a chance to learn about different cultures, so they are perfect for those who are looking to experience something new.
Here are a few photos of our recent Self-Drive Namibian Safari Holiday…
