Australia is, undoubtedly, the best place in the world for a self-drive holiday. The roads are well maintained and sparsely populated (apart from the odd Kangaroo), the sightseeing activities are endless, and there is always a friendly guest house or hotel along the way where you can spend a night or 2 on your road tripping adventure, so it really is easy and carefree.

But despite spending 8 weeks Road Tripping Australia, we didn’t get to see nearly as much as we had hoped. This country (continent?) really is huge, but we did manage to tick parts of Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria off our Bucket List.

We will, one day, return to Australia, but until then, we will have to make do with some of our favourite holiday photos…
