As one of Africa’s up and coming holiday destinations, Zimbabwe has much to offer international travellers, and after soaking up the splendour of the mighty Victoria Falls, your next stop should be a safari in one of the countries many National Parks.
Where you safari in Zimbabwe depends on the time of year. We visited during the wet season (although we had 35 degrees and sunshine every day), and so we were advised to stick to the southern parks – specifically Hwange National Park.
Just a short flight from Victoria Falls by light aircraft, Hwange is a fabulous place to take a short safari, and while the animals were not in abundance at the end of March, we still saw plenty during our stay…
