The Kilimanjaro Climbing season is well underway, and if you plan to climb Africa’s highest mountain over Christmas or New Year, you are in for a real treat!  Kilimanjaro is not only a great adventure, it is one of the most beautiful mountains in the whole world, and if you appreciate ever-changing landscapes, unusual flora and fauna, and breath-taking scenery, this is definitely the expedition for you.

We took over 1,000 photos during our recent Machame Route Climb, and while choosing a few for this post, I relived every moment on the mountain!  We’ve climb Kilimanjaro twice, and both times I have said ‘never again!’, but you know what, I think I’m up for round 3!
