Royal Wedding Fever has taken over the UK, and indeed the world, and if you have stocked up on bubbly, cancelled all Saturday chores, and plan to spend the whole day in front of the TV tomorrow – you’re not the only one! More than two billion of us are expected to watch the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in what will ultimately be the wedding of the year.
After a turbulent few weeks for Ms Markle, it has now been decided that her father will not attend the wedding, she will be escorted down the aisle (at least part of the way) by our very own Prince Charles, her soon to be father-in-law, and that the newlyweds and their guests will enjoy a lemon and elderflower wedding cake.
But what has yet to be revealed are the details of Harry & Meghan’s Honeymoon… Where will they go? Well, the jury is still out on that one, and while we do know that they will not heading on a romantic break immediately after their wedding, they are expected to jet off somewhere before the Invictus Games start in Autumn.
Honeymoon Destinations Suitable for Royalty
Harry & Meghan are believed to have fallen in love in Botswana, and so many rumours are suggesting that they will return there for their honeymoon. But I’m not so sure! I think the gorgeous duo will be heading off somewhere new, exciting and away from prying eyes, somewhere like…
North Island, The Seychelles
The most exclusive (and expensive) island in the Seychelles, North Island is one of the most romantic places in the world, and so it is perhaps no surprise that William and Kate honeymooned here. A truly luxurious escape, its location ensures complete privacy, and so Harry and Meghan may well be tempted to follow in the sandy footsteps of his big brother.

Miavana, Madagascar
As both Harry and his new bride are passionate about the environment, a trip to the new and luxurious Miavana Island Sanctuary on Nosy Ankao in Madagascar could be their perfect honeymoon hotspot. You arrive by private helicopter, and there are just 14 exclusive villas on the island, and it is an eco-friendly resort.

Wherever they decide to go, let us hope they have a wonderful time and a long and happy life together. Happy Wedding Day Harry & Meghan!
